About GPX Toolkit
GPX Toolkit is a free tool for runners, hikers and cyclists to fix and reshape their GPS tracks — remove spikes, cut points to fit a device, trim the drive home, or shift timestamps so an edited activity uploads to Strava as new.
Your files never leave your device
Unlike most online converters, GPX Toolkit does not upload your file. Every step — parsing, editing, and saving — runs in your browser using JavaScript. Your routes and home location stay on your computer or phone. The only network requests the page makes are for the background map tiles (which receive only the map area you pan to, never your track).
Why it's free
The site is supported by unobtrusive ads placed around the editor — never over the map or your data. That keeps the tool free for everyone, with no account and no file-size limits.
Feedback
Found a bug or want a feature? Get in touch — feedback from runners, hikers and cyclists is what shapes the tool.
Not affiliated
GPX Toolkit is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Strava, Garmin, Coros, Suunto, Wahoo, or any other company.
